30 Things To Do Before I'm 30

Image
I thought I would do one of those posts where I talk about things I want to do in the future and why not do a 30 things I want do before I'm 30 so I have about nine years to achieve these thirty goals for myself. It's also something I could look back on when I am thirty years old to see if I actually have achieved any of these things. Hopefully I will but we'll have to wait and see in nine years time. 1. Get my degree Now this is probably an obvious one as I'm in my third year of university but honestly after two years of doing university it would be nice if next year I could have a degree. I also thought I'd start this list with something I could definitely achieve (fingers crossed) before I'm thirty years old. 2. Visit Harry Potter Studio Tour/Harry Potter World/Both As I am a massive Harry Potter fan I would actually like to visit the studio tours in London or visit Harry Potter world in Walt Disney World because they look absolutely amazing and wo

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Merry Christmas Everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful day however you choose to celebrate. Whether you're spending it with family or friends or even if you're alone today or have to work. However it is you are spending this day. Make it a happy day. Be grateful for whatever you get and just be happy. Christmas comes once every year so make the most of the day.  I'm spending it with my mum which is exciting. We'll be opening our presents as we always do in the living room then we'll be visiting family before inviting my nan and grandad over for a tasty Christmas dinner. It's a very happy day where Christmas music will be played throughout the entire house and a Christmas movie will be on at some point during the day which will be fun. Anyway, I'm off to open some presents now so I hope you all have a lovely day and I'll be back again on Friday with another blog post. See you then Megan x

Home For Christmas

Image
Can you believe that on Monday it's Christmas? I can't. December just goes by so quickly. The excitement for Christmas grows everyday then suddenly it's here then quick as a flash it's gone. We have to take the decorations down then suddenly it's the new year. It's sad but it's life. Things come and go so we just have to move on. For once I am on top of everything with my Christmas shopping. Being a poor student Christmas shopping can be hard when you don't have a lot of money. I know I could get a job but I have loads of assignments to do so the stress was getting to me a little and affecting my mental health. I feel like adding a part time job to the mix and I'd feel like I would have a mental breakdown. I don't know how some students do it sometimes. Anyway, with the help of Amazon and also some bargains in some shops. I'm pretty impressed with what I've got everyone and I hope they like it. One thing though that my mum told

Productive Day Secrets

Image
Do you ever just have those days where you're struggling to find any motivation to do work and you have all these responsibitilies you need to get done but all you wanna do is relax, take a nap and watch some Netflix. Well, this can be a problem but I am here to help you so that you can say you have had a productive day and feel like you've actually achieved something. Although I understand that sometimes it's a lack of motivation that's putting you off but hopefully these tips can get you out of that funk. 1. Wake Up Early Sometimes I find a productive day starts when I've woken up early. I'm talking waking up at a reasonable time like 8am or anything before 9am. Just the fact that you've woken up and ready to start the day means you're already on your way to having a productive day. Waking up early also means you have more hours in the day so if you get all the things you need to do done in the day then you have the rest of the day to chill ou

December Is Here

I can't believe it's already Decmeber and there's 24 days until Christmas. I love December mostly for the fact that everyday I get to open my advent calender. I'll never be too old for an advent calender. I don't know why people think it's a kids thing to have an advent calendar. Hello. You get to eat chocolate everyday. I treated myself to two advent calendars because I got the Makeup Revolution beauty advent calender which I am excited about but I couldn't imagine not having an advent calendar with chocolate in it so I got my favourite Cadburies Dairy Milk calendar because I love Dairy Milk chocolate. In my opinion it's the best. Unfortunately though as much I want to celebrate Christmas and forget about life's responsibilities. I'm a uni student which means there's no resting for the wicked. I have assignments and a dissertation to do so it's stressful month as well. That is also the reason why I've been a bit absent on this b
