Evening Routine

Image
We had the morning routine in yesterday's post and now it's time for the evening routine. Let's get started. So my evening started with having a bath as on this particular day was a very stressful day and I wanted to do a little TLC. I always like to have a bath to make me feel relaxed and this definitely helped me feel a bit better. These are the products that I used in the bath. For my hair I used the TRESemme Nourish Coconut Shampoo and Conditioner which I absolutely love as I have oily hair that used to get very greasy and I used to have to wash my hair everyday but since using this shampoo and conditioner, I can now wash my hair every other day. It just makes my hair nice and soft plus makes it feel refreshed every time I use it. I also use the Radox Feel Uplifted shower gel and I love the smell of this plus buying a big bottle really makes it last so long. It's also a 50% recycled plastic bottle so it's also good for the environment. Anyway, I love using these

Morning Routine

Who doesn't love a good old fashioned routine post and I thought I'd share with you a typical morning routine of what I do in the morning to get ready for work.  Let's get started. My morning starts like everyone else's morning. In bed after having been woken up by my alarm. I wake up at 7am everyday which gives me a whole hour to get ready for work. The first place I go to as soon as I get up is to the bathroom where I go and do my business plus brush my teeth afterwards because I don't want a smelly breath. Next, I go down to the kitchen to make my usual cup of coffee. I cannot function in the morning without a cup of coffee. Once I make my coffee, I take it upstairs and start getting ready. I make my bed as it makes me feel so much more productive when it's made and I can't stand a messy bed. Especially when I'm getting ready because it's too distracting. I will put on Eastenders in the morning because iPlayer releases the day's episode at 6am

My Top Five Songs At The Moment

Image
We all have songs that we can't help but listen to as they bring us so much joy or we can relate to them so much. I thought I'd share my top five favourite songs at the moment that I honestly can't help but listen to every time on my playlist. All You Wanna Do - Six The Musical Honestly, I relate so much to this song so much because it reminds me of pretty much all my exes. In the beginning of my dating journey I was a little naive shall we say where I thought everyone was in it to actually date a person. I then learned after a while that a lot of people were in it for just a bit of fun which kind of sucks and this song is essentially about that where Catherine Howard slowly realising the men's true intentions with and it's actually quite a sad song because you can feel her pain the further into the song we get. Honestly I've been there and I've now learned I'm never letting any man treat me as just a bit of fun. This is a power ballad for anyone that ha

How To Be Productive

Image
Sometimes it can be hard to get motivated to be productive and that's why you may have come across this blog post on how to be productive because instead of being productive you're searching online for tips on being productive. Fear not, for I am here to help you out with five tips on how to be productive. Hopefully, after this post you will finally have that motivation to be productive.  1. Wake up earlier Waking up earlier is a proven way to be productive because it means you have more time in the day to get things done. It may be a struggle at first to set an earlier alarm but the more you do it and get into a good sleep routine where you're getting enough hours of sleep then soon your body will get used to those early mornings. I always feel more productive to get things done earlier. Even at university, I'd wake up earlier so I can go to the library as soon as it opens because I know the sooner I get my work done then the sooner I can relax later on. Try for one we

Things I Loved About University

Image
Yesterday, I talked about all the things I regret about university so let's spin the negative into a positive and talk about five things I loved about university. Let's get started. 1. The independence One of the best things about moving away from home and going to university is the independence. Finally, you can learn how to be an adult and do things on your own without your parents being there. It's a chance to learn how to cook, clean, shop and look after yourself. Finally, your life is in your hands. Of course you have lecturers telling you what to do but you have complete freedom to do what you like. It's also a chance on how to learn how to live on your own. Before I went to university, I didn't even know how to do laundry and the only thing I knew how to cook was noodles. Gradually, I learned how to do those things. Granted, the first time in the laundry room, I went with people and secretly got help on how to do it. I learned you just set the timer, throw in

Things I Regret About University

As someone who decided to go to university twice, I have to say that there were a lot of good points about going to university. There were a lot of things I'd wish I'd done differently so here are five things I regret about university.  1. Moving into a student house For my second year, I moved into a student house and it was great because it was nice to have my own place plus I got to share with three others. It was nice to have our own bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and living room. Plus it was a nice house. However, one thing that happened was it did feel a bit isolated from university. Freshers were definitely not the same and it definitely didn't feel like we were a part of the action on campus even though we were a five minute walk away. We never really got involved with any student events and it just felt like we were out of the way from other students. As much I loved living in the student house as it was nicer than halls to an extent, however it was very isolating. 2.

Study Tips

I know a lot of you reading this may currently be in school or university so very soon you'll have exams and assignment deadlines coming up. Now rather than studying for them, you're searching up ways on how to study. Well, I'd thought I'd help you out by sharing my tips on how I studied when I was in school and university. Let's get started. 1. Find what works for you Remember everyone is unique. We all pick up information and learn things differently. Some people are more visual whereas some prefer writing everything down. Some even prefer to listen to things through audio. Try different methods before you start to see which one works best for you. You might prefer, writing everything down or typing it out. You might prefer just reading and highlighting the information. You might prefer seeing it visually through images or diagrams. You might prefer listening to podcasts, lectures, and videos. It's always good to know what works for you because everyone is dif
